William Peña, PT, DPT Owner William graduated from the State University at Buffalo with a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy and continued his education at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. He attained a Masters degree in physical therapy with a minor in administration. William received his training at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, MA, Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL, and Stuart Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL. He earned a doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine. He specializes in manual therapy for treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. |

Michele King, OTR/L Owner Michele R. King, MS,OTR/L graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She completed a graduate thesis entitled "The Role of Occupational Therapy in Palliative Care," which served as a model for the curriculum of Russell Sage's Palliative Care Course within the OT curriculum. She completed her training at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY in both their acute care and subacute rehab settings, servicing stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. A life long resident of Sandy Creek, King returned to Central NY following graduation in 2004. She then went on to Seattle, Washington to complete a 3 week certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) for adult CVA (stroke). In addition to her stroke specialization, Michele specializes in hand therapy, which includes advanced upper extremity custom splinting, and has completed 3 consecutive years of the Philadelphia Hand Symposium, a 4 day intensive lecture and lab participation which attracts hand therapist and surgeons from around the globe. King began working for AP&OT in 2006 running their outpatient clinic in Watertown, NY. Michele became a partner of AP&OT in January 2009. |

Brian Boutilier, PT Brian Boutilier, Major (Ret) is a graduate of the US Army-Baylor Graduate program with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Mr. Boutilier's professional career has given him broad experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, trauma, cardio rehab, injury prevention, health promotion and teaching. Among his postings were Evan Army Community Hospital, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Drum, and Iraq. While at Fort Drum, Major Boutilier created a 3-year research program for monitoring Division Injury Rates, and instituted a running shoe fitting intervention program that resulted in a 45% reduction in Injury Rate for 10th Mountain soldiers. Upon retirement from the Army, Boutilier decided to make his permanent home in the North Country. He treats patients in the Watertown office. |

Melinda Burwell, PT Melinda Burwell, a 2004 graduate of Clarkson University with a Masters in Physical Therapy, a has been practicing in the North Country in both outpatient services and home care for all ages from pediatric through geriatric. She has a wide variety of experience in orthopedic, neurological, pre- and post- operative evaluations and treatments. She also is certified in New York State as a Lymphedema Specialist. |

Brittany Delisle PT, DPT Brittany is a 2003 graduate of Clarkson University, with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Molecular Science. She earned both her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and her Doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) in 2009 from Clarkson University. She works in an outpatient clinic and provides physical therapy in the homecare setting. |

Mary Ellen Healey, PTA Mary Ellen received her Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 1998. She holds Pilates Mat Certification for Health Professionals and uses the Stott Pilates method. Mary Ellen is also a licensed massage technician for which she received training from the Institute of Health Sciences in San Diego, California in 1998. |

Nikki Myers, PTA Nikki received her associates degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Herkimer County Community College in 1998. She first lived and worked in the Syracuse area for five years before returning to the North Country. While in the Syracuse area, she gained a lot of experience in orthopedics and aquatic therapy. Since returning to the North Country, she has had a variety of experiences in pre/post operative care, balance training and general conditioning. She enjoys working in the homecare setting providing one on one care. |

Janet Parcell, PT, DPT Janet is a 2009 graduate of Clarkson University with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She received her BS degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Cortland in 2006, and is a Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She completed training internships in outpatient orthopedics at both Canton-Potsdam Hospital and In-Motion Physical Therapy, Malone, an acute care internship at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, and training in a school-based pediatrics setting at St. Lawrence-Lewis Boces. Among her professional interests, Janet enjoys working with children and athletes. An athlete herself, Janet is an avid ice hockey player. |

Dan Peacock, PTA Dan received his Associate's Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 1998. He has continued his education by completing an APTA Clinical instructor credentialing course in April 2001. He also acquired Aquatic Certification from the Aquatic Resource Labs in Jan 2003. Dan was a member of the Academic Advisory board for SUNY Canton's PTA program from 2001 to 2004. |

Amanda Person, PTA Amanda Pearson received her Associate degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 2002. Since graduated Amanda has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and homecare settings. She has a wide variety of experience including wound care, pre and postoperative care, neurological intervention, balance retraining, and general conditioning. She enjoys working with patients of all ages in the one on one setting. |

Chris Towler, PT, DPT Chris Towler earned his BS Degree in Biology in 2006 and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Clarkson University School of Health Sciences. During his doctorate studies, he received specialized training in outpatient orthopedics at Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake, and neurological rehabilitation at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, Schenectady, NY. He also completed an internship in inpatient acute care at Thompson Health in Canandaigua. His interests are in geriatrics and neurological conditions. |

Patrick Sullivan Mr. Patrick Sullivan is our marketing specialist. Patrick holds associate degrees from SUNY Canton in Liberal Arts and Business Administration. He graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2004 with his BA in Economics. He worked in Portland, ME as a credit analyst until deciding to pursue a career in health care. He is studying Physical Therapy at SUNY Canton. |

Shannon Sullivan, CPC Shannon holds a bachelor's degree in business management and is managing owner of Atlantic Billing & Coding, LLC. She was president of the local coding chapter in her area for 2008-2009 term, which she founded in 2008. She currently is a member of the provider outreach and education board of Medicare as well. |
